Swiftly now!
Do you hear?
The sound of horses
drawing near?
Fly away, fly away
to your home, little bird
up to your home in the forest

Hush now!
Do you hear?
The chattering of men
drawing near?
Hide away, hide away
in your hole, little mole
down to your hole in the forest

Softly now
do you hear?
The sound of footsteps
treading near?
Weave your loom, weave your loom
while you wait, little girl
weave your loom in the forest

"Hark now!
Is she here?
The mysterious enchantress
most have fear?"
"T'is I, T'is I
you brave souls
I, the girl of the forest"

"Hark now!
Do you see?
The king himself
has sent for thee?"
"T'is so, T'is so
Why has he
sent you three to the forest?"

"His royal majesty
seeks your skill
to ease his heart,
make it fulfilled"
"I will come, I will come,"
the enchantress said
And so they left the forest
Last of the four poems I made when bored. I liked this one at first...and then it fwomped at the end. orz idk I think it's because of the speaking bits but it would've been incomplete if I just left it at the description. Yeaaaah idk. Hope you enjoy!

Aww, don't worry so much, I think speaking parts can still be good when incorporated into poems. :3 You're right, though, it can be hard to get it to fit. But I liked this one~
