It had been a week on the road now and Eo was tired. He did miss his old body, but this new one was such an experience to him he wanted to continue using it. Chel was the same, even more so. Her excitement over it was nearly contagious and he would smile the smallest of smiles at her being happy.

Of course, being in a pokeball for several days was never fun. He wondered why their trainer wouldn’t let them out for three whole days, but he probably had his reasons. He was scared when he phased through him, so perhaps it was his fault… Whatever the case, he made sure Chel was properly hydrated and ate heartily after being let out of pokeball three days later. He seemed to be convinced that they were indeed former Pokemon with how content she was with eating Pokemon food, and him saying he didn’t need it. Though as of now he wasn’t sure if he could- well, he knew he could. But his horn to do so wasn’t there anymore, so that was a problem. Still he managed to feed off his trainer’s fear that day, but the moment of calmness and paranoia left him hungry. He wasn’t exactly sure if his new body needed supplements to keep it going, but for now he’ll go without regular food like he used to.

Right now he was out of the pokeball, watching his friends sleep. He rubbed his tired eyes, feeling his stomach ache and gurgle. Worrisome indeed, he hadn’t need to deal with that as a Shuppet- well, as a feral Pokemon. He made his way over to Chel, checking on her sleeping form. Peaceful, good. No nightmares tonight it seemed. He bent down and brushed his lips against her forehead, feeling it familiar for some reason. His mother never did it to him, nor did his father, but that was alright. This is what family did, right?

His gaze fell on Aster and his heart began to flutter and experience that sweet, sweet ache he was oh so familiar with. He…confused him. Surely Pokemon can’t love their trainers like that…can they? Well maybe as a gijinka…he wasn’t sure. Why was he even thinking these thoughts? Aster probably thought of him as a tool for battle and nothing more. He slowly made his way to his trainer, feeling himself moan from his feelings. His feelings his feelings his feelings…What were they to the trainer? He loved him, he knew Aster had a soft side to him, though he personally never really saw it unless it was winning gym battles or evolving, which only happened once. But even with all his faults, he was still a good…good what?

His darker thoughts whispered of the irresponsibility of his trainer, of the anger and the hurting. Didn’t he want to leave it all? Or was he just hungry for his dark emotions? He decided that no, it wasn’t that. He began to love the good emotions he emitted too, somewhere along the way. Maybe he was a masochist for staying, but then again good Pokemon stay by their trainer’s side, especially if the Pokemon type was generally shunned by the populace and seen as bad luck. Much like he was.

He reached out towards Aster’s hand, breathing heavily as it inched closer and closer. It stopped, hovering in place for a few moments, before he quickly withdrew it and moaned again. This feeling, this heartache, such a sweet feeling it was. The most delicious too, but at the same time he couldn’t bear to see his trainer so down, no not at all. Oh how he longed to be held by him, to be caressed by him, it was so little but so much! In this form, he could hold hands, hold him tight, do something to be close to him. Oh, but he wasn’t allowed, he had to be tough, he had to be distant, he had to, he had to, he had to.

Hearing a noise, he snapped out of his feelings and crouched low to the ground, listening to whatever was making that rustling sound. By his ghostly senses he could sense the soul of another person here. Human or gijinka? He couldn’t tell. The figure stayed there for a few moments and he made his way over to them, hesitantly, cautiously. He wasn’t sure what he was getting into, but if he hurt his friends, he swore-! The person went away after a while and he sighed in relief. Good, that was over and done with. Eo continued his night ritual of watching over his teammates, feeling oh so tired but unable to sleep.

This had...nothing to do with protecting lol. But here are Eo's...thingymadoodle on the thingermabobbers idk lol. Hope you enjoy!

I love how you've characterized Eo so far, and how much thought you put into how those two Pokemon were handling themselves in their new forms. It would make sense for them to be unsure and weirded out at first >w<
